If you are like me and love the holidays and seasonal flavoring, get to Native Nectar now! Sometimes it is really hard to stay healthy or make healthy choices during the fall/winter months. Native Nectar provides healthy yet tasty alternatives to help make these decisions a little easier. Also now all of the juices are in 12 oz. bottles and $8. Make sure to check out their fall menu options beyond the juices as well.

Let's talk Juice Cleanse. I have done a few one day juice cleanses before but never one from Native Nectar, or one that was as jam packed with nutrients as this one was.
This cleanse involved 9 items: 4 alkaline waters, 3 juices, 1 shot, and 1 nut milk
The day started with Char Char Binks, a detox water with activating charcoal to absorb toxins from my body. The most toxins are in your body when you first wake up. Next came the Superman Shot. This was essentially my coffee replacement packed with lemon and ginger to boost my immune system. Next, breakfast, Phunky Beets. Beets bring more oxygen to your muscles, goodmorning muscles! Later, Run Forrest, a detox water, packed with ginger for inflammation after working out. I really was feeling great, not hungry, and had lots of energy to take on the day. For lunch I had the Buddah juice. It contains a good variety of nutrients and vitamins and is packed with protein. Buddah is also one of their best selling juices so if you don’t know which one to try, I highly suggest that one. After that, was an afternoon detox water, Master Blaster, with lemon and cayenne which is good for weight loss. At this point, I started feeling bloated from the amount of liquid I had consumed so far that my body was not used to. I wasn’t hungry though, which was one of my main concerns about doing the juice cleanse. I was very excited for dinner, Joyful Sound, the nut milk. This was the heaviest drink of the day and also the most filling. It is packed with 15g of protein. After dinner, another detox water, Hate Fade, packed with cucumber for hydration. For desert, Juice Lee, the sweetest juice of the cleanse. This was the perfect desert replacement and great for curving the sugar craving I so typically have after dinner.
All in all, the juice cleanse left me feeling full, hydrated, healthy, and energized.
I was so glad to know and be educated about what I was putting into my body and the benefits it was giving me. I personally would only want to do a one day juice cleanse again but they can certainly help you gather what you need for a multiple day cleanse. I would highly suggest stopping by Native Nectar and getting your pre-holiday cleanse and for SURE keep them in mind for your much needed post-holiday cleanse.

Here are some things to know about doing juice cleanses:
Totally normal to get a headache, especially if you are used to having a lot of coffee or sugar
One day cleanses give your digestive system a nice break
50% of our bodies energy goes to digestion, juice cleanses are about redirecting that energy
There is no fiber in any of the juices
HAPPY JUICING
All the happy,
XOXO
