You know how there’s some stores you walk into and you are just like….”I’ll take it all!” ? Yeah, that’s me every time I walk into Steamroller. Steamroller has three locations in Arkansas, Little Rock, Jonesboro, and Rogers. As a NWA local, I’d consider myself a frequent flyer at the Rogers location. Located in the same shopping center as Walker Brothers, Newks, and Orange Theory, Steamroller adds a particular style and edge to Rogers. Steamroller Blues carries a wide variety of brands but some of the favorites at this location include Jeffrey Campbell, Wildfox, Chaser, and Stylestalker.
Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of attending Steamroller Roger’s 1st birthday party! It was such a well put on event with giveaways, goodies, mimosas, treats, and of course SALES. The giveaways were amazing and drawn for every hour. Some of the giveaways included Game Days tees, Oribe products, Kom Hot Yoga classes, Revive Spa massages, just to name a few. My mom was in town and the party was the perfect mother/daughter shopping trip!
While chatting with the staff, I was so impressed at their willingness and knowledge to help create the perfect look from head to toe. They helped me style a few different looks that they believe help represent the store. One thing they really wanted to portray was the array of types of outfits they can provide from dressy to really casual. I found several Game Day outfits that I cannot wait to wear to the next Razorback game. With several original Game Day tees, the shirt that reads, “Dickson Made Me Do It” is the best selling and also the most clever in my opinion!
I also found several different pieces that are going to be perfect transitional pieces into fall but my favorite part of these looks were……THE SHOES. I don’t consider myself a shoe girl and have always said I would rather spend money on a shirt or a dress over a pair of shoes. The selection at this store CHANGED MY MIND. I seriously wanted every pair. The quality, style, brand, and looks of their shoes made me not want to take them off my feet.
Another aspect about Steamroller that I personally love is how many pieces they carry that can be translated into Business Casual. Working full time and having after 5pm plans seems to be the norm for the young adult in this area. Steamroller carries pieces that can be combined into both. For example, the blazer in my Game Day look can be easily translated and styled to wear to work for a meeting with a client.
Fun Fact: If you bring back your bag to shop on Sunday’s you will receive 10% off your purchase!!! So totally a no brainer to go shop with your bag on Sunday’s and take major advantage of that discount with SRB Sundays.
Overall, Steamroller continues to impress me. Carrying certain brands that have limited access in NWA, providing excellent staff ready to help and give honest suggestions, and throwing great events and sales like their 1st birthday party, makes me keep wanting to come on back and SHOP.
So next time you need a dress for a wedding, a new graphic tee to wear out, a girls night out, a shopping trip with mom, or a gift for a friend, shop at Steamroller Blues Rogers and I promise you won’t leave empty handed.
